NGC 6696 (also MCG 10-26-47 and PGC 62215) is a magnitude +15.1 spiral galaxy located 354 million light-years away in the constellation Draco.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 17th June 1884.
