NGC 6784 (also NGC 6784A, ESO 104-55 and PGC 63209) is a magnitude +13.8 elliptical galaxy located in the constellation Pavo.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at the Cape of Good Hope on the 23rd June 1835.
