The object was found among a large group of sacral objects such as an amulet, a so-called 'magic staff' fashioned from antlers decorated with geometrical motifs, an engraved bone spear, and numerous tools made of flint, wood. According to the researchers, it is a natural pyrite meteorite fragment with cylindrical shape and porous, corrugated side surface.
