NGC 6100 (also MCG 0-41-12, UGC 10307 and PGC 57706) is a magnitude +13.0 spiral galaxy located 223 million light-years away in the constellation Serpens.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 3rd July 1886.
