NGC 6753 (also ESO 184-22, IRAS 19071-5707 and PGC 62870)is a magnitude +11.1 spiral galaxy located 145 million light-years away in the constellation Pavo.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at the Cape of Good Hope on the 5th July 1836.
