NGC 6868 (also ESO 233-39 and PGC 64192) is a magnitude +10.7 elliptical galaxy located 131 million light-years away in the constellation Telescopium.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at the Cape of Good Hope on the 7th July 1834.
