NGC 6399 (also MCG 10-25-59, UGC 10896 and PGC 60442) is a magnitude +13.7 lenticular galaxy located 496 million light-years away in the constellation Draco.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 7th July 1885.
