NGC 6627 (also IRAS 18203+1540, MCG 3-47-1, UGC 11212 and PGC 61792) is a magnitude +13.3 face-on barred spiral galaxy located 242 million light-years away in the constellation Hercules.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) speculum reflector at William Lassell's Tigné Point observatory in Sliema, Malta, on the 13th July 1863.
