NGC 6422 (also MCG 11-21-15 and PGC 60558) is a magnitude +14.8 lenticular galaxy located 349 million light-years away in the constellation Draco.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 1st August 1883.
