NGC 1573 (also MCG 12-5-8, UGC 3077 and PGC 15570) is a magnitude +11.7 elliptical galaxy located 194 million light-years away in the constellation Camelopardalis.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Ernst Wilhelm Leberecht Tempel using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/19 refracting telescope at the Arcetri Observatory on the 1st August 1883.
