NGC 7601 (also IRAS 23162+0857, MCG 1-59-39, UGC 12487 and PGC 71022) is a magnitude +14.0 face-on barred spiral galaxy located 370 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus.
The galaxy was discovered by British amateur astronomer Andrew Ainslie Common using a 91.44 cm (36 inch) reflector at his Ealing observatory, near London on the 4th August 1880.
