NGC 6609 (also MCG 10-26-25 and PGC 61559) is a magnitude +14.5 spiral galaxy located 374 million light-years away in the constellation Draco.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 4th August 1883.
