NGC 6711 (also IRAS 18476+4735, MCG 8-34-25, UGC 11361 and PGC 62456) is a magnitude +12.9 barred spiral galaxy located 215 million light-years away in the constellation Draco.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 5th August 1885.
