NGC 6606 (also MCG 7-37-25, UGC 11174 and PGC 61633) is a magnitude +13.9 spiral galaxy located 265 million light-years away in the constellation Lyra.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflecting telescope at the Marseilles Observatory possibly on the 8th August 1883.
