NGC 7688 (also PGC 71648) is a magnitude +14.0 spiral galaxy located 524 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus.
The galaxy was discovered by German-American astronomer Christian Heinrich Friedrich Peters using a 34.29 cm (13.5 inch) 16ft. f/13.3 Spencer refractor at the Litchfield Observatory, in Clinton, New York, on the 13th August 1865.
