NGC 6906 (also IRAS 20211+0616, MCG 1-52-3, UGC 11548 and PGC 64601) is a magnitude +12.3 barred spiral galaxy located 223 million light-years away in the constellation Aquila.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92-cm (48-inch) reflector in Malta on the 15th August 1863.
