NGC 7501 (also MCG 1-59-7 and PGC 70619) is a magnitude +13.4 elliptical galaxy located 588 million light-years away in the constellation Pisces.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) reflector in Malta on the 2nd September 1864.
