NGC 673 (also IRAS 01457+1116, MCG 2-5-33, UGC 1259 and PGC 6624) is a magnitude +12.6 spiral galaxy located 238 million light-years in the constellation Aries.
The galaxy was discovered by by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Observatory House, Windsor Road, Slough, Berkshire on the 4th September 1786.
