NGC 665 (also MCG 2-5-19, UGC 1223 and PGC 6415) is a magnitude +12.2 spiral galaxy located 249 million light-years in the constellation Pisces.
The galaxy was discovered by by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Observatory House, Windsor Road, Slough, Berkshire on the 4th September 1786.
