NGC 7392 (also ESO 603-22, MCG -4-53-40 and PGC 69887) is a magnitude +11.9 barred spiral galaxy located 147 million light-years away in the constellation Aquarius.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Observatory House, Windsor Road, Slough, Berkshire on the 11th September 1787.
