NGC 7315 (also MCG 6-49-37, UGC 12097 and PGC 69241) is a magnitude +13.9 elliptical galaxy located 290 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 11th September 1872.
