NGC 7557 (also MCG 1-59-21 or PGC 70854) is a magnitude +14.2 spiral galaxy located 170 million light-years away in the constellation Pisces.
The galaxy was discovered by Irish astronomer Bindon Blood Stoney, assistant to William Parsons, using the 'Parsonstown Leviathan' 182.88 cm (72 inch) reflector at Birr Castle on the 16th September 1852
