NGC 753 (also IRAS 01547+3540, MCG 6-5-66, UGC 1437 and PGC 7387) is a magnitude +12.3 spiral galaxy located 225 million light-years away in the constellation Andromeda.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 Merz-Refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 16th September 1865.
