NGC 904 (also MCG 4-6-24, UGC 1852 and PGC 9112) is a magnitude +13.6 elliptical galaxy located 246 million light years away in the constellation Aries.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Jean-Marie Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 18th September 1871.
