NGC 7776 (also IC 1514, MCG -2-60-22 and PGC 72812) a magnitude +14.5 spiral galaxy located 416 million light-years away in the constellation Aquarius.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Ormond Stone using a 26-inch (660 mm) f/14.9 Alvan Clark refractor at the Leander-McCormick observatory at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia, on the 31st October 1885.
The galaxy was rediscovered by Austrian astronomer Johann Palisa using a 27" f/15 Grubb-refractor at the Vienna Observatory on the 19th September 1893, and relisted as IC 1514.
