NGC 7332 (also MCG 4-53-8, UGC 12115 and PGC 69342) is a magnitude +12.0 edge-on peculiar lenticular galaxy located 67.1 ±11 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire on the 19th September 1784.

NGC 7332 and NGC 7339 form a dynamically isolated binary system (number 570 in the catalogue of double galaxies compiled by Igor Karachentsev), and are likely orbiting each other. NGC 7332 is the brighter of the two galaxies. Read more
