NGC 7086 (also Collinder 437 and OCL 214) is a magnitude +8.4 open star cluster located in the constellation Cygnus.
The open cluster was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road in Slough, Berkshire on the 21st September 1788.
