NGC 590 (also MCG 7-4-3, UGC 1109 and PGC 5808) is a magnitude +13.0 barred spiral galaxy located 228 million light-years away in the constellation Andromeda.
The galaxy was discovered by German-Danish astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 Merz-Refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 22nd September 1865.
