NGC 131 (also ESO 350-21, IRAS 00271-3332, MCG -6-2-10 and PGC 1813) is a magnitude +13.2 spiral galaxy located 65 million light-years away in the constellation Sculptor.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at his Feldhausen Observatory at Wynberg in Cape Town on the 25th September 1834.
