NGC 7361 (also IC 5237, ESO 468-23, IRAS 22395-3019, MCG -5-53-27, UGCA 434 and PGC 69539) is a magnitude +12.3 spiral galaxy located 57 million light-years away in the constellation Piscis Austrinus.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town on the 28th September 1834.
The galaxy was rediscovered by Lewis Swift in July 1897 and relisted as IC 5237.
