NGC 595 is a magnitude +13.1 HII region in the Triangulum Galaxy located 3 million light-years away in the constellation Triangulum.
The nebula was discovered by German astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 1st October 1864.
