NGC 571 (also MCG 5-4-63, UGC 1069 and PGC 5587) is a magnitude +13.7 elliptical galaxy located 214 million light-years away in the constellation Pisces.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 1st October 1864.
