NGC 7402 (also MCG 0-58-10 and PGC 69914) is a magnitude +14.5 lenticular galaxy located 214 million light-years away in the constellation Pisces.
The galaxy was discovered by Irish astronomer R. J. Mitchell, assistant to William Parsons, 3rd Earl of Rosse, using a 182.88 cm (72 inch) speculum reflector at Birr Castle on the 2nd October 1856.
