NGC 7690 (also PGC 71716) is a magnitude +12.0 spiral galaxy located in the constellation Phoenix.
NGC 576 was discovered by the British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 Inch) speculum reflecting telescope at Feldhausen Road, Claremont, Cape Town on the 3rd October 1834.
