NGC 1449 (also MCG -1-10-32 and PGC 13798) is a magnitude +13.4 spiral galaxy located 186 million light-years away in the constellation Eridanus.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 Merz-Refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 9th October 1864.
