NGC 700 (also UGC 1336 and PGC 6928) is a magnitude +14.6 spiral galaxy located 210 million light-years away in the constellation of Andromeda.
The galaxy was discovered by Irish astronomer R. J. Mitchell, assistant to William Parsons 3rd Earl of Rosse, using the 'Parsonstown Leviathan' 182.88 cm (72 inch) reflector at Birr Castle on the 12th October 1855.
