NGC 204 (also MCG 0-2-116, UGC 423 and PGC 2397) is a magnitude +12.9 lenticular galaxy located 248 million light-years away in the constellation Pisces.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Windsor Road in Slough, Berkshire, on the 16th October 1827.
