NGC 7692 (also IRAS 23302-0552, MCG -1-60-3, UGC 473 and PGC 71712) is a magnitude +14.8 irregular galaxy located 241 million light-years away in the constellation Aquarius.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer George Phillips Bond using a 38 cm (15-inch) Merz and Mahler refracting telescope at the Harvard College Observatory, on the 23rd October 1848.
