NGC 7284 (also Arp 93, ESO 533-31, MCG -4-53-4 and PGC 68950) is a magnitude +12.1 barred spiral galaxy located 215 million light-years away in the constellation Aquarius.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Clayhall Farm House in Old Windsor on the 26th October 1785.
