NGC 511 (also IRAS 01210+1101, MCG 4-2-33, UGC 936 and PGC 5103) is a magnitude +13.7 elliptical galaxy located 514 million light-years away in the constellation Pisces.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 26th October 1876.
