NGC 45 (also MCG 5-1-54, UGC 120 and PGC 875) is a magnitude +13.6 lenticular galaxy located 212 ±15.1 million light-years in the constellation Andromeda.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Windsor Road in Slough, Berkshire, on the 11th November 1827.
