NGC 2824 (also MRK 394, IRAS 09160+2628, MCG +04-22-031, UGC 4933 and PGC 26330) is a magnitude +13.2 lenticular galaxy located 127 million light-years away in the constellation Cancer.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 30th April 1864.
