NGC 5013 (also MCG 1-34-7 and PGC 45838) is a magnitude +15.1 face-on barred spiral galaxy located 381 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) speculum reflector at William Lassell's Tigné Point observatory in Sliema, Malta, on the 30th April 1864.
