Parts of the classified Cosmos-2392 satellite are predicted to re-enter the earths atmosphere on April 26th, 2006. The satellite belonging to the Araks (Arkon) family of spacecraft developed by NPO Lavochkin was launched at 19:13 Moscow Time, 25th, July 2002, aboard a Proton booster rocket from Site 81 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome (also known as Tyuratam), Kazakhstan. The dual-purpose spacecraft, designed for military and civilian observations of the Earth surface entered a highly elliptical orbit around the Earth.

A Proton-K Auxiliary Motor that was launched on the 25th July 2002 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome LC81, on the Cosmos 2392 mission, was predicted to re-enter the Earths atmosphere on the 28th February 2006 @ 13:19 UTC ± 20 minutes.
