NGC 6403 (ESO 139-19 and PGC 60750) is a magnitude +13.9 lenticular galaxy located 224 million light-years away in the constellation Pavo.

The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town on the 28th June 1834.
