Bright green meteor streaks through sky over Buenos Aires

Spectacular photos and videos of a meteor streaking through the sky over the Argentine capital Buenos Aires have been posted to social media.
Local daily newspaper La Nacion reported the meteor was visible at around 9.00pm local time (10am AEST) and lasted for close to ten seconds.
Geoffrey Wyatt, acting manager of Sydney Observatory, said that after viewing the video he was 99 percent sure it was a typical fireball or meteor.
