NGC 3274 (also known as IRAS 10294 + 2755, MCG 5-25-20, UGC 5721 and PGC 31122) is a magnitude +12.8 barred spiral galaxy located over 24.8 million light-years away in the constellation of Leo.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 11th April 1785.
