NGC 2693 (also UGC 4674, MCG 9-15-55, ZWG 264.35, and PGC 25144) is a magnitude +11.7 elliptical galaxy located 227 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major. In the sky it is adjacent to the smaller galaxy NGC 2694.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 17th March 1790.
