NGC 3546 (also MCG -2-29-7, PGC 33846) is a magnitude +13.4 elliptical galaxy located 205 million light-years aay in the constellation Crater.
The galaxy was discovered by the American astronomer Frank Muller using a 66.04 cm (26 inch) refractor at the Leander McCormick Observatory in 1886.
The galaxy hosted supernova 2017cze
