Just a small note to say that this sites Lively Chat Room is closed.
Avatars and rooms became unavailable as of January 1, 2009.

Lively was a network of avatars and virtual rooms created and decorated by its users. Google launched Lively on July 8, 2008 as an experiment in providing people with more ways to express themselves on the Web.

However, the IMVU SPACE virtual room/chat site is still open, and has over 600 astronomy chat users.

I have changed the default forum thread view.
The posts will now be sorted as the newest thread first, (This is for the benefit of RSS viewers).
Of course, you can choose, and set, your own preferences in your profile page.

Forum performance is a bit sketchy today - out with my control

Hum,
i just had a quick look at the forum statistics.
I didn't switch it on at the peak usage, but it seem there were over 38,000 visitors over the last 24 hours, with over 800 browsing at once.
There are currently over 400 still online.
So, just to remind users, there are the two chat rooms (Google Lively and IMVU) and RSS feeds.

If people are wondering why the main website is down - it's because i scrapped it, (with the intension of replacing it and making it a lot simpler and faster to use, sometime in the future).
Apologies for the inconvenience - it'll eventually be back up and running.
